Last one last one !!!!

Basically is the last day trekking down to civilisation and somehow in mind that we are going to have a comfy bed and nice shower, we tend to sorta enjoy the trek a little bit .. LOL .. I mean mentally .. Like suddenly we are just stress-free .. Or we just finally get used with all the trekking, the tiredness and everything but it's time to say goodbye already ..

Leaving the camp that we stayed for last 2 nights that was quite an emotional night ... Goodbye is always the hardest thing to say but the memories will also be there in our mind ..

Btw, crossing that not-so-fat of tree trunk with my bagpack and holding walking stick, it's kinda scary  and kept having this in mind like what-if i fall into river ..

On the other side of the river, a Switzerland-look-alike scenary is waiting for us .. Just so nice la ... Not much of ascending today mainly are on flat roads and 2 - 3 hours of descending .. Kinda hurting the knee and toes tho ..

The sky were so blue and grass were so green that we cannot don't stop for some photos .. A last photo of us on the Great Kashmir :D

Then, we walk into rows of trees ... Into forest like trek ...

Cooling trek but damn lots of rocks la .. I officially hate walking on rocks .. Make me paranoid when jumping from one to another afraid that I will just slip and fall =.="

Half way through, come across this not-sure-what-is-that and I thought I'm in Rome .. Hahahaha ..

But my guess is a house for the Gypsy staying around kut ... Hrmmm ...

Then walked for about another 2 hours before we reach to a small guest house where we actually got to order Maggie Mee .. Yeah, you read it right .. Maggie Mee !!! We were so bored of mountain-top dhall with chapati liked food, of course we all chose to pay for the Maggie Mee .. kekeke .. Until it's sold out .. Luls .. Typical Malaysian who were craving for Malaysian food, i think Maggie Mee is one of the cravings this time xD

Not sure why it's called hotel cz errr I don't see rooms .. I would rather call it as a rest stop lor ... And caught this pretty Kashmir ladies on top of the "hotel" looking at the happenings ...

Yush, they looked concern on what was happening, so do I .. One of our team mate, who has always been the top in the trek i.e. first to go, first to arrive the camp .. She actually injured herself during our rock climbing day, 2 days ago but did not tell anyone about her injury .. Somehow her injury sort of got worst on our last day that makes her back (I think) hurt so much that every step she actually shouted so badly ... :( Feel bad when she refused to be on the stretcher and be carried down the mountain as she wanted to finish the trek on her own foot ... But after much persuasion by all of us (not me), she finally give in to be carried down ... :) As much I admire her sportsmanship, I'm even more glad that after seeing doctor when we were down the flat ground, she's find .. Did not hurt the spinal cord ... :))

Btw, these porter and the guide is just so awesome lor .. While carrying her down the mountain which is on a zig-zag trek, they still can sing all the way down .. LOL .. Free radio ma ... I WANT TO BE CARRIED LA !!!! LOL ....

Yeah, that pretty much how we ended our trek .. Reached the based camp and van (taxi) came carried us away to Srinagar town to stay in boat house .... We were probably just too tired that I left my beloved trekking shoe and dad left his walking stick in the car T__________T

The Cafe by Photo Crafts

Ola!!!!

CNY has ended 2 days ago together with Valentine's Day and I should get my engine moving on my blog and photography !!!!

Recently, I've loved to exploring new cafe in town that I think I should start sharing here with whoever is going to read my blog here .. LOL .. But yeah, few days ago I was told by my mom that one of her colleague was googling on a place and my blog came out in the Google (Thanks GOOGLE! Love ya!!! Give u 90830192830921830123 of kissess) and was giving positive feedback on how they love I blog. Just so duper happy la ... I always thought I'm the only reader here .. HAHAHA ...

OK OK .. For the love of whoever is reading it ... Here's my new post !!!

Shall share about this cafe that I recently went with my so po that I almost went crazy ...

Why? You say?

After climbing some steps, my first view of the shop is this .. And the first thing that caught my eye are things on the right ... All camera related stuff !!!! laksjdkalsjdlkasjdlkasjdlkasdjas

The surroundings ..

Quite a spacious cafe and just super love the settings la ..

It was quite late when we were there so we just order coffee for a drink and chit chat and of course having me drooling over the displays they have ...

Even the thing that put the toothpicks also come in a film shaped .. Why so cute !!! Almost wanted to put that in my bag quietly without people knowing ... :X

Had latte and I find it's quite good for a price of about RM10 ah, i think .. Can't remember d .. Ooppss ..

Heh .. Sorry on the food and drinks review part .. But I'm just seriously too obsess with the stuffs below ..

This shop which is by Photo Crafts are mainly into lomography so of course the cameras they have are lomo cameras. Oh, and on the 3rd floor of the cafe (simply because they are located on the 2nd floor of shophouses) they have retail too selling all the lomo camera and other camera related stuff like diary, photo album .. They also sell Instax camera ..

Here's the look of the retail at 3rd floor .. So vintage and so many camera that if only I can buy all ... :(

I wasn't into lomo camera so that night I did learnt something about lomo camera or at least the brands they have ...

Just so vintage and so cute lor !!!! I want i want !!!!

Love the middle one ... KEEP CALM & JUST BUY .. hahaha .. *breathe in breathe out*

Some ideas that I'm definitely going to steal to put in my room as I've been wanting to wash out some of the nice photos that I've been taking and put in on my room's wall ..

Not bad hor the idea .. *steals*

So, for all the photography lovers .. I super highly recommend you all to go there to have some drinks ke .. Hehehe .. Promise will go back there to properly have their foods and drinks .. :P It's a nice place to chill out cuz it's spacious and cosy ...

CNY Preparation

Oh emm gee !! Oh emm gee !!!

Few more days and it's CNY already !!! I have been having serious procastination for the past few weekends .. I know I have many things to be done on the weekend but somehow I always end up with just lazying on the bed feeding myself with all the nonsense, forgetting all my hard work at gym during the weekends ... *sigh*

So, how's your CNY preparation??

Honestly, this year's CNY has been really rushing in the sense that it seems that doesn't have much time for preparation. After welcoming 2014, we have exactly about 1 month to CNY. The shopping complex seems to be slow into CNY mood, so does the mandarin oranges ... I also didn't have much of CNY mood until, maybe this week? Anyway, I think i've pretty much prepared for CNY :D

Let's see ...

1. New clothes - CHECKED

Btw, just fyi, these are all purchased from Pasar Pagi (Morning Market) nearby my house. All these are bought with an average of RM20 per piece .. So awesome and cheap right !!! Yes, I don't mind you call me cheapo ... As long as I can get good and cheap stuff, I'm happy ... And at least I don't feel heart pain if I only wear or use them few times before throwing away .. But nahh .. normally I'll kept till they probably are spoilt or cannot be worn ... :D

This year didn't really shop much but still wish that I can get few a pair of new heels .. Heh .. At least to complete from head to toe ma ...

2. New hair - CHECKED

Talking about head .. Of course must do something to my hair .. As I wana keep my hair long for at least another year .. So, gonna do some colouring .. And I really thank to Buddha for letting me to know all the awesome people in this world that I get to do my hair at the most cheap price that I ever paid for ...

Brown? Of course not .. This colour is so dull and common .. :P

OH OH !! Btw, I so super love my new phone lorrr .. See this photo of my hair taken with my new phone, Sony Xperia Z1 ... The details of it .. Aiyohhh .. So damn clear .... *hippo butt shaking*

3. CNY Deco - CHECKED

This year decided to just do a simple deco at home ... 

As simple as this ... Just to have the house some CNY feel .. Of course put some mandarin oranges and cookies around the house is also very CNY feel d .. LOLOL ...

4. CNY cookies - CHECKED

What is CNY if u do not have fats in the house !! hahaha . This year I tried frying some aerohead chips, crabstick and seaweed crisps. Kind of failure as it turn out soft and not crispy except for seaweed crisps :(

And my mum has this obsession .. hahaha .. Obsession over this ...

Every year this time round, the market would be full of this, and mummy would actually collect this, known as Kuih Bakul or "nian gao" in mandarin ... She will buy i think it's enough for us to eat for a year d lor .. xD

When I start eating this, will take a photo of how do we eat it, k? But this is one of my favourite yummy food ... It's made of glutinous rice and brown sugar (if i'm not wrong as I don't really do baking or cooking, I just eat).

That's about it .. Pretty much ready for CNY to come and collect ang pau !! Wohoooo .. !!! HAHAHAHA ...

Day 6 - (Satsar / 12,000 ft to Gangabal Twin Lakes / 11,500ft)

Each day, somehow we were given a challenge to overcome it .. There's no one day that we could actually say that's it is an easy trek ... Well, at least for me .. So, today's challenge it's rock .. Literally rock climbing la ..

Can you see the rock ... this is literally how high we went up with these rocks ... There are big ones, shaky ones .. It's really scary la ... But really thank god that I've got these 2 guides, George and Tashi who were there with us the whole time ..

Actually there's a easier route to reach the top but since it's good weather, the leader decided to let us try the some rock climbing .. Like seriously =.=!

Whatever it is .. I'm gonna take the challenge !!

The rocky path took me about an hour or almost 2 hours and we actually are walking on legs and hands to climb up :O Just so not ready for this la ... After we passed this, we have to climb for i-dont-know-how-far before we can reach the top ... As I was just so exchausted after the rocky part, it took me longer time to reach the top and I was the last to reach ... T_T

Tough but we made it !!!

On the other side of pass, we have this amazing view of lakes, the Gangabal twin lakes,

This is the view all the way down and we are heading to the lake, the right side one ... Descending is definitely a no problem with me but people who has knee problem may face some difficulty here ..

About an hour or 2 again to reach our camp site .. The yellow tents are our camps :D Since it's near, we took our time to enjoy the scenary ..

At this camp, we are staying 2 nights .. So yay !! No trekking on the next day but just relaxing day .. Wheettt !!!

Day 7 -  (Gangabal Twin Lakes / 11,500ft)

Today, we get to have a "free and easy" day where no trekking is required .. So, of course gonna take thousands of photos that I did not take much for the past few days .. Kekekek

Here's some morning shots of the surroundings .. I honestly think even my photos don't do enough justice of how beautiful is the place ..

One of the lake that is just few metres away from us .. 

Few of our group members decided to descend today as well joining the other group who are going back already .. It's really nice having them although most of the time they are at the front of the trek and I'm always the last .. 

The doctor couple .. They are just so amazing ...

After saying goodbye to them, the remaining decided to go to the other lake for some shower .. I wanted to follow but I've finally down with flu and cough, so I decided to take some pills and rest in the tent .. But here's a photo that daddy took of the lake .. This lake is also known as the holy lake where the locals believe that if you wash yourself here, you would was away all your sins .. Sads, I've still has my sins .. 

So happy to be able to play in the water after days of not having proper bath ...

After my nap, saw these big herds of sheep passing thru our camp ..

Hehe .. the kids are just so cute ...

The granny would sort of command her sheeps to keep crossing and they are just so obedient lor ..

The day is just so long that we are going everywhere to take picture .. LOL .. Cooling air to just chill around, some play cards some just sit around chatting ..

And oh .. Cz today was the 30th August, so we actually celebrated Merdeka Day by singing our national anthem "Negaraku" and we even did countdown following Msian time .. We will still love our home no matter where we are, how much complains we have for the governtment ..

During the night, we even had campfire and had the biggest feast since this will be our last night of the trekking .. But what's most touching is, on top of a mountain, the cook can actually come out with this for us .. T______T

 It's made of carrot and raddish .. So pro neh !! and so pretty to be eaten ..

And also this cake for 2 of our member as they celebrated the birthday here on the Himalaya .. This cake seriously made a lot of us esp the 2 men also tears :')

The one in green shirt, he's the cook and he made it all .. including the awesome cake !!!

Baking a cake without an oven or flour .. Just goats milk and not sure what else ... He'll be a great chef if he's given the opportunity .. He's young but he could cook delicious food .. Really really thanks to him that we got to have nice food along these 7 days trek ... Thank you very muchhh ....

After the food, of course we are gonna be partying (for a while) to celebrate our success and also as a gratitude to Indiahikes for the helpfulness and friendliness that they are not here just to work but also as a friends ..
