First Lou Sang @ Grand Kingdom

My buaybee suggested to have our HIMY pre-cny reunion at Grand Kingdom which is located at First Floor of Tropicana City Mall, Petaling Jaya (you can locate for Borders which is just next to it). We didn't really order much food as there's only 4 of us girls and cutie is still in her vegetarian period. Hope that I can go back there to try out more of their foods and have a better review of it  ... :D

Since it's a pre-CNY reunion dinner, of course we must do our first Lou Sang ^_^

Lou Sang that comes with a BIG chopstick, for a easier lou sang, i suppose?

Not sure we are just pure bankers influenced or what, somehow all our shoutings are just money-related .. xD Which is the most realistic to ask for ma .. no meh ???

Some of the dishes that we ordered ...

Pork fried with "pek kuey" .. It's nice ...

Vege Dish ...

I suppose the most popular dish which almost every table that I saw will order this ...

Note: Just realise the photo sequence is wrong xD

It's minced pork with tofu .. And the tofu, I presume is made of tao fu fah i.e. soya bean .. Otherwise, and the concept is basically like making jelly or agar-agar .. Where you'll pour the hot soya bean into a wok and let it cool off till like a jelly-like .. Then, once it's cool off about 10 minutes, on top they'll put the minced pork .. Something different lor ... Can try :D

There's another interesting dish that we saw on the menu which is called "Dancing Pole Chickent" and apparently it is served where the chicken is hang on a pole .. Hahahaha ... Look more like a roasted chicken. Not sure if is nice and worth the try as the price is kind of pricy though ...

Running Man

I've heard for this name quite sometimes but never had chance to watch it till recently when one of my friend was like recommending to me to watch. So, I decided to look for it and try to watch. It's a Korean variety show, well it's something like Amazing Race where you have to run around to complete certain given tasks.

After watching few episodes, I got to say that I'm really addicted to it. Simply because the celebrities (where eventually 7 of them are permanent to the show) are just so funny enough. I could never stop laughing. Whether it's all were put for show or it's just them, but I can felt it's just them. There's not much of faking in it. Another great part of the show is that, they would go around places mostly in Korea, but in the show, you'll also get to introduced to the nice places, what are the popular things in that place, the history of it. So you actually get to learn a lot about the places.

To those of you all who has never watch it, here's some of the episodes that I manage to found in YouTube. Pls enjoy :D

Episode 1 - A good introduction to all the celebrities.

Episode 8

Episode 14

Basically all episodes are just interesting and funny. And each episodes they would have special guests, even celebrities like Big Bang, Boa etc appeared for the show. :D I personally like Kim Jyong Kook and Lee Guang Su. Obviously Jyong Kook for his smart brain and physically trained body and Guang Su for always kena bully ... Lol ... xD

Yes, I insist that you all who are reading this MUST watch the above videos and get yourself addicted to it..  I watched it at PPS, so that's a number of early episodes I missed as it is not available in PPS. But  it's good for a start to watch la..

So well, I know it's quite late to listing down my 2013 resolution but I do have some in my mind, which I hope to realise it in 2013. :D Here goes my list ...

4. Be more active in working out and make sure I commit myself to Yoga CONSISTENTLY .. Yeah, I've started taking Yoga class which is quite a pain at the start but I'm starting to loving it .. The Journey of Love Back to Nature (Tannah Aina)

So, my 2013 begun with a torturing relaxing family treat INTO the forest located in Bentong, Pahang.

I wasn't expecting to be a nice comfy retreat. But unexpectedly, it's just awesome. My bro couldn't keep saying that this retreat is for city people who want to feel adventurous but still within their comfort zone like the cleaniness. LOL ..

Reason is because they just have, I could call it as 5 star chalet that you can choose from. If you prefer a more adventurous, you can actually opt for TENT. But still the tent has bed .. LOL LOL !!! Well, at least still can experience the feeling of staying in a tent la .. :P

Some of the activities that they have is river trekking where you would have to wet yourself crossing some rivers, then at the end of the point, where you'll be able to do the Leap of Faith. Well, basically is just a platform jump la .. And me with all my courage, for the first time of my life, i did the platform jump .. Honestly, it's quite scary looking from the top, but the feeling of jumping into the water, it's just superb !! Except the butt hurts xD Thanks to my weird pose when jumping .. T_T

Then, at night, we got to walk for about 10 minutes or so to a small hill, manage to just lie there and watch the beautiful sky with all the stars blinking at me .. It's just so nice that I wished I could capture the stars with my phone. But too bad just couldn't :(

The best part of all that I love this place is that, whether you opt for tents or chalet, it is located just next to the river. So it's like you can just jump into the river anytime.

It's really good for us who are tired of the noise in the city to make a weekend escape. Highly recommend you to go there just to relax your mind and body. I really don't mind going there again. :D

Some of the photos that I manage to capture using phone. Didn't bring my camera. Sobz .. Should have just brought it ..

As there's 4 of us, so we got the biggest chalet which is also called Master Chalet Ulam Raja

Very english feel kan !!!! And oh .. found this very kyuttt lor ..

Outside of the room,

Just imagining sitting down here with a novel, a cup of hot coffee listening to sound of the nature .. Perfecto ~!

Just a few steps down and can enjoy the cold river water .. Isn't it the water so clear ... Well preserved .. Apparently these are the only few rivers in Pahang which are not polluted .. Sobs .. It's kinda sad to hear about how pollution has destroyed all these nice environment ..

View from river of our chalet :D

And that's another chalet which is called the Honeymoon Chalet .. Probably is smaller kut ..

Another side of river where most tents are based on ..

The tent ...

As Tannah Aina is an organisation with its ultimate objective of promoting environment awareness, in the night, they showed us a video of how badly the mountains and hills of Pahang area has been affected which apparently is not showed in the mainstream media. As I watching it, I do really feel sad looking at it how most of the hills was gone, exploding by those constructions. :(

Anyway, to all city kids and friends out there, I seriously recommend you to here just for a weekend escape. Trust me, you'll love it.
